About Jaquie Daniels
Jaquie Daniels is a singer-songwriter in the folk/acoustic genre based in Southampton, UK. Influenced by artists such as the Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, and Joni Mitchell, she blends contemporary and neo-traditional folk, telling topical and touching stories of real life. Her songs reflect her desire to inspire, entertain and amuse.
Jaquie accompanies herself mostly on guitar, but also on mandolin and ‘cello. She regularly performs at local folk clubs and open mic sessions, and has recorded five albums and two EPs which are available on CD and on digital music sites.
Her latest release is the single “The dancing flames”, which, along with the accompanying video, was released in December 2019. She has also been played on the Acoustic Cafe show on Wey Valley Radio and Women of Substance podcast.
